Maintaining and creating household gardens in Oxfordshire
I help bring gardens to life and bring life into gardens
Hi, I’m Jason Bruce
I am a RHS certified horticulturalist delivering gardening and landscaping services in Oxfordshire.
My mission is to create and nurture the land you share with local wildlife, and call your garden, to provide year round interest for you, and sanctuary throughout the seasons for all creatures great and small.
Whether you are an experienced gardener looking for regular help in the garden, or a complete novice looking for inspiration and advice, I can help. I’m continually learning and looking for clients to impart my enthusiasm and passion on.
In a previous working life I was a senior quality assurance manager, as such listening and communicating with my clients so that I can deliver the quality of work and service they expect is of utmost importance to me.

we come to an agreement on a schedule for me to visit your garden
Projects
Smaller tasks we can discuss fully on the initial visit and I will provide a date for getting back to you with a schedule for implementing the work.
Larger projects will require more design and consultation with you. I will talk you through the process on my initial visit.
-
All initial visits following an inquiry are free of charge.
One time projects will depend on the scope of those projects taking into account design, planning and build.
Regular maintenance work I charge at an hourly rate of £30 per hour and have a minimum visit time of 2 hours.
-
Send me an enquiry with details of what you are looking for and if it is something I can help with then I will be in touch to arrange an initial visit. If not then I will be sure to help point you in the right direction.
Ways we can work together
-
Maintenance
Make the most of your garden
Caring for your existing garden
Evolving your garden through the seasons
Advising how you can contribute
-
Design & Planning
Create a vision:
Planting plans for borders
Ideas for small areas of a garden
Inspiration for the whole garden
-
Build
Realise a vision:
Create and plant up new borders
Adding sustainability features
Hard landscaping tasks
Small tasks and jobs
Many clients are just looking to makeover a small section of a garden or make small improvements. Examples of these smaller projects include:
A small water feature to add an additional element to your garden,
Improving accessibility with ramps and level ground
Restoring a tired border edge
Screening a water butt
Repairing a fence
The same care and attention goes into the design and creation of these smaller elements as a larger build.
Larger projects
Some clients are just looking for a small one off job.
Here a client with worsening mobility required an area outside their green house tidied up and made more accessible.
The client had a collection of random pathing slabs they wanted to make use of to keep the budget down.
Let’s work together
